What's life really like in New Zealand?

Hi friend,

I emigrated from England to New Zealand in 2006. Before the move I did a fair amount of research into life in New Zealand but nothing prepared me for my new life.

Books, forums and blogs talk about the practicalities of living in a foreign country. But in my experience, emigrating wasn't about things being different, it was about people being different.

"Can I use my TV in New Zealand?" and "How do I transfer my money to New Zealand?" are easy to answer. But to anyone thinking of emigrating, the million dollar question is "What is life really like in New Zealand". That's much harder to answer ... and much more important.

This website aims to try and answer that question.
